A cardboard truck has caught fire in the Airport Link tunnel, causing major peak hour delays for drivers.

The tunnel was closed in both directions, but has since re-opened.

The north and southbound ramps to and from the Airport Link and Clem7 tunnels remain closed.

It’s caused traffic chaos on surrounding roads as well.
