The M1 Pacific Motorway has been shut northbound at Bar Point due to a truck fire just past Jolls Bridge.

Two lanes have now reopened, but traffic is queued around 4km.

Motorists are advised to allow plenty of additional travel time.

Emergency services, traffic crews and a heavy tow truck are on site.

Visibility is low due to smoke from the fire.
