122 per cent increase in Australians suffering from perinatal depression
There has been a spike in Australians seeking help for perinatal depression and anxiety.
Gidget Foundation CEO Arabella Gibson told Deborah Knight there has been a 122 per cent increase in calls for their services this year.
“What we think we’re seeing is what we call the COVID lag.
“We saw so much heartache for this group.”
