Police have announced today they are offering a $250,000 reward for information leading to the killer of Wayne Youngkin who went missing in 1986.

Mr Youngkin’s badly decomposed body was found in a septic tank in Brighton last November alongside a car seat cover. As part of their investigations police have released new images of Mr Youngkin and the car seat cover.

The money isn’t available to anyone directly involved in Mr Youngkin’s murder, but there is a possible indemnity from prosecution for any accomplice who comes forward first.
