A 4BC listener says he saw 15 ambulances ramped at a public hospital this afternoon.

Ray called in to 4BC Drive saying he’s never seen anything like it.

“I’ve just been down to Robina Hospital on the Gold Coast there visiting a relative, that’s in hospital and on the way out I had to walk out the emergency department.

“I noticed there was 15 ambulances all backed up into the ED waiting to unload people at the one time.”

The state government is under increasing pressure over the issue, with new data revealed last week showing ambulance ramping rates the highest in the country.

Ray says he has “never, ever seen it” like that.
