Australian businessman Mark Bouris has joined the fight against food delivery companies and online shopping, which he says are killing off small businesses.

After walking down a Darlinghurst street in Sydney’s CBD and realising just how many stores have closed down, Yellow Brick Road founder Mark Bouris decided to do something about it.

He tells Ben Fordham the business model for food delivery companies is simply not sustainable.

Mr Bouris is encouraging all Aussies to support local businesses and spend a night eating out rather than at home.

“It’s pretty disappointing. And the big thing, for me anyway, is it’s actually killing off the communities.”
