Lessons from the 2016 outbreak of White Spot Disease, will prevent recent positive tests on two prawn farms turning into the same scale of devastation of just over 3 years ago.

Two farms on the Logan River have tested positive to the virus as part of routine surveillance.

White Spot Disease only impacts crustaceans, and is not harmful to humans.
