Second generation Audi Q2 SUV arrives
In small SUV’s Audi Q2 has been a firm personal favourite and it was recently released in a second generation in a three model range. The entry 1.5-litre turbo Q2 35 TFSI front wheel drive $42,990 really appeals to me – a great package size for a retired couple, best as a two seater, classy with a great interior, comfortable as well as practical. Standard now with a leather appointed interior, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, LED headlights and taillights, MMI Navigation Plus and 18-inch alloy wheels – in all the new equipment adding around $3,000 in extra value.
Above all else it’s a classy small SUV, nicely finished in the Audi tradition with a really user friendly 7-speed dual clutch automatic. Cabin quality and ergonomics are the Audi Q2’s real strengths in a premium compact SUV that offers a claimed combined cycle fuel economy of 7-litre/100km. Warranty perhaps the only real disappointment at three years/ unlimited km.
