Melbourne Storm assistant coach Ryan Hinchcliffe says the players are in good spirits ahead of Saturday’s clash with the Panthers.
He said he knew the Panthers would be turning up to play their best.
“We’ve got a lot of confidence in our team especially our forwards, that if we go out and execute our game the way we know we can, we are a pretty hard team to stop,” he told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports.
“Very fortunate to work with those guys, and they teach me a lot more than I teach them, that’s for sure.”
He said the Panthers’ form had been “outstanding” in recent years.
“We got a good balance in our forward pack there’s no doubt about that, but the opposition we are playing this weekend have a pretty handy one themselves, so should shape for a good tussle.
“They are a great great players, good forward pack.”
He also revealed Josh Addo Carr is expected to play this weekend.
