Peter Dutton sprays former PM Malcolm Turnbull in brutally honest appraisal
Defence Minister Peter Dutton has given a scathing appraisal of former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull and his efforts to bring down the Morrison government.
Mr Dutton told Ray Hadley he had hoped Mr Turnbull was at COP26 in Glasgow to support the Australian government, but it has now become clear that is not the case.
“A lot of this is driven by spite, as we know.
“I feel incredibly sorry for him … he’s got beautiful grandchildren and he should be enjoying that stage of his life instead of being totally consumed by hatred.”
