A fifth case of the Omicron COVID variant has been confirmed in NSW.

The asymptomatic woman visited multiple locations before the instruction to self-isolate was announced.

The lifting of safeguards repeats the mistakes of the Ruby Princess and limo driver debacles, he argued.

“She’s done nothing wrong.

“Dominic Perrottet said prior to this outbreak … ‘let’s all come back home, and no isolation – back into the community you go’.

“It’s again a misstep by the government, when are we going to learn the lesson?”
