A lucky person will be handed the keys to a new beachfront mansion next week – just in time for Christmas! 

Youth charity yourtown will draw one winning ticket from 860,000 on December 23 and give away a home at Casuarina.

All funds raised will go toward Kids Helpline, a 24-7 counselling service for people aged 5 to 25.

Kids Helpline CEO Tracey Adams told Sofie Formica the home is “the biggest prize we’ve ever had”.

“A great chance to win and and a guaranteed chance to help young people who use Kids Helpline.

“At $15 [a ticket], it’s probably the cheapest piece of magnificent real estate you’ll ever find!”

Ms Adams said the hotline employs around 200 councillors to help with youth issues.

“For young people, loneliness, isolation, they’re all things that impact their lives and we know not all young people live in homes that are safe.

“Having a service like Kids Helpline that is there for them at no cost, at a time that they need it, really speaks to the trust and the credibility the service has built up.”
