There’s blue skies over Brisbane this morning but more storms could be on the way. 

It’s expected isolated storms could return as soon as tonight, with the threat escalating from tomorrow.

“We’re going to have some extreme instability, particularly if we get sunshine tomorrow,” weatherman Justin Noonan told Neil Breen.

“We could see some very nasty thunderstorms develop with heavy rainfall, damaging winds and the potential for large hail thrown in there for good measure as well.”
