Queensland’s recent fierce storms, heavy rain and flooding has left many people facing a huge clean-up task.

For some Queenslanders, they might just notice more mould around after the incredibly heavy rain.

Cleaning guru Nicole Gibson says she has had people reach out to her on social media asking about how to clean mould and general cleaning tips, including for outdoor areas that copped the brunt of the wild weather.

“The most important thing is to make sure you wear your PPE, so wear your mask, wear your rubber gloves, protect yourself because you do not want to be breathing in the airborne mould spores,” she told Sofie Formica.
