Ash Barty’s next chapter will become clearer today when she holds a press conference in the Brisbane CBD.

The 25-year-old is leaving tennis at the top of the game, as world number one and reigning Wimbledon and Australian Open champion.

Tennis legend and commentator Todd Woodbridge told Neil Breen she’s been an outstanding role model for young sportspeople.

“She did it in a way that allowed herself to be the very best she could be,” he said.

“She really is the humble champion that can show young kids … how you can be good at a sport without having to be poorly behaved.

“I hope we get to be able to have her influence across all sports.”
