A security guard is under investigation after crash-tackling a streaker who invaded the pitch at an NRL game.

Titans fan Javon Johanson interrupted the game between the Gold Coast and Parramatta Eels at the weekend, dodging one security guard before she was taken down.

Nine News reporter Erin Buchan told Rob McKnight the Titans are awaiting a report into the incident.

“At the end of the day, everyone just wants to get on and do their job; the security guards need to do their job, the football players want to do their job.

“I think no matter male or female, pitch-invading, it’s careless, there’s big fines for it and there’s a reason for it.

“She’s got a court date for later this month.”
