Olympian Lisa Curry says her latest book, Lisa: A memoir – 60 years of life, love & loss, is saving lives.

Curry opens up about her late daughter Jaimi, who battled an eating disorder and alcohol addiction in the lead-up to her death in 2020.

Speaking with Sofie Formica, Curry says while the book was incredibly difficult to write, it was well worth the pain.

“I’ve just been reading messages from people who have said to me they have sat down and told their children about Jaimi and what happened,” she said.

“It’s actually helped their children turn a corner and seek recovery. It’s saved their lives, it saved their families the trauma that we have gone, still going through.

“I want Jaimi’s life to have mattered and to have made a difference to people.”
