Why Breenie’s tipping minor parties will clean up on key seats

There’s good reason to expect minor parties and independents will be the biggest winners on May 21, Neil Breen says.

Neither the Coalition or Labor have passed the campaign trail’s halfway mark unscathed and public support is waning.

“Many Australians perceive this government as being stale,” Neil said.

“[But] the key thing in the armoury for the LNP is that Anthony Albanese is not of the personality of the three Labor Leaders who’ve taken Labor to power post-the war from Opposition.”

While there isn’t expected to be much movement in Queensland, Breenie says teal candidates and minor parties could seize high profile seats elsewhere.

He said there’s been word the Coalition believes anything up to 30 per cent of some electorates are undecided.

“When there’s a large amount of people who are dissatisfied with the government but not sure about Anthony Albanese, … their votes could drift all over the place.”
