Australia’s Forgotten Designs
In 1989, 7500 lost designs from some of Australia’s top artists were rediscovered. They were then put into storage for another 30 years. But that’s all about to change.
The Australian Museum of Design has taken a deep dive into the artworks, and is showing them, in a virtual museum for designers across the globe to use.
The art pieces show designs from artists such as Noel Lyons, Bruce Clark and Carla Zampatti.
David Lennie and Margaux Everett from The Australian Museum of Design talk to John Stanley about assembling the collection.
