Brisbane Broncos coach Kevin Walters says the players are keen to capitalise on their winning streak and keep up the momentum after a strong few weeks.

He says it’s all about consistency moving forward.

“We started the season quite well, two straight wins and then we fell away … admittedly we did come up against a couple of tough games, the Cowboys really played well against us at Suncorp,” he told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports.

“But really the last month has been good, much improved, a lot o the little effort areas in games we are working really hard on, that’s been the one that’s getting us the results mate.”

Looking forward, he says it’s been a good month of footy, but they have to continue to improve week by week.

“Well the first thing Pete is maintaining and continuing what they are doing, because it’s obviously working.”
