We bet you didn’t expect this Hollywood star to be a fan of your local liquor store!

The Gold Coast rolled out the red carpet this weekend at the Australian premiere of the new Elvis biopic.

Tilly from Paddington scored an invite to the event and told Neil Breen what went down.

Tilly: “I didn’t meet Tom Hanks but we did definitely see him.

“He was talking to the crowd about how much he was a big fan of Dan Murphy’s.”

Breenie: “Really?”

Tilly: “Yeah, yeah it was a great night.”

Breenie: “So he was talking about how he was a fan of Dan Murphy’s? Are you serious?

Tilly: “Yes, he said he got to know Dan Murphy’s very well when he was here!”
