Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk challenged NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet to a bet ahead of Game One tonight.

If Queensland wins, the Sydney Harbour Bridge will be lit up in maroon.

But in the event of a Blues win, the Story Bridge will be lit up in blue.

But Premier Perrottet’s returned swerve with a cheeky quip, joking that the two bridges didn’t even compare.

“I hadn’t heard of it, I had to Google just to make sure it was in Queensland!”
