‘Golden boy’ Reece Walsh set to return to the Broncos
Reece Walsh will be a Brisbane Bronco again.
The Courier Mail’s Pete Badel says he will see out the last two months with the Warriors before pre-season training with the Broncos.
“He’s been granted a release by the Warriors from his three year deal, he will be at the Broncos in 2023,” he told Peter Fegan filling in on 4BC Drive.
Badel says finally the Broncos will “get their golden boy back”.
The 19-year-old had been granted a release on compassionate grounds and has reportedly signed a $1 million deal.
“Reece Walsh is a pretty solid young guy … as he matures I think he will be a more complete player, but bottom line is, he is an outstanding signing and I think he can make Brisbane a premiership contender.”
