Residents living near Suncorp Stadium are calling for a permanent police presence after NRL games,  saying the anti-social behaviour is often out of control.

A police presence in the streets nearby last night after the State of Origin decider helped, Milton local Nichola Burton said.

In recent weeks, locals have reported mopping up urine and excrement from their fences.

She took some photos last night of people urinating.

“We are really first port of call, we have that post game parade,” she told Neil Breen.

While stadium management have been working hard to address the issue, residents are pushing for a more permanent presence, particularly after league games.

“If we didn’t have the police there last night it would have been chaos.”
