A report has revealed that two-thirds of Aussies haven’t been to the dentist in two years!
Dentists are concerned with the number of people delaying treatment because cost-of-living pressures, long waitlists for government-funded care and backlogs from elective surgery being put on hold throughout the pandemic.
John Stanley chats to Eithne Irving, Deputy CEO of the Australian Dental Association, about why it is so critical that we get regularly oral checks up and don’t delay seeing a dentist if something doesn’t feel right.
