Value for money? The question for Aussies on private health insurance
Neil Breen has been left astonished by the figures in a report into the soaring cost of health insurance premiums.
It’s been revealed health premiums increased by $911 million last financial year in Australia.
But only a fraction, $114 million, was paid out to health benefits.
“Our insurance premiums have increased by 54 per cent in the past decade,” he said.
“Does anyone genuinely believe they are getting anywhere close to value for money?”
Neil said there’s a question for Australians to ask their private health providers.
