Orange Sky’s vehicle upgrades set to help 116,000 homeless Aussies

Bill Woods

Bill Woods is joined by Nic Marchesi, Co-Founder of Orange Sky, about their new fleet that will leave a positive impact on the 116,000 Australians currently experiencing homelessness homeless and the environment.

Orange Sky’s fleet of twenty-eight laundry and hybrid laundry and shower vans across Australia will be upgraded with eight key features.

The new vans are designed to reduce environmental impact by cutting electrical consumption by up to 90% per shift and is forecast to reduce greenhouse gases by up to 70%.

Simplifying and reducing the cost of maintenance, enhancing safety measures, and importantly, increasing the usability of its vehicles will improve the overall experience on shift for friends and volunteers.

This World Homeless Day (10 October 2022), Aussies are encouraged to donate to support Orange Sky’s Vehicle Upgrade Project
