Buckingham Palace announces King Charles III’s coronation date

King Charles III will be crowned at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6 2023, Buckingham Palace has announced.
UK correspondent Adam Gilchrist told Laurel, Gary & Mark it’s understood the ceremony will be a “slightly scaled-down occasion”.
“There will still, of course, be some pageantry, plenty of it,” he said. “It also wont just be King Charles’ day because Camilla, the Queen Consort will also be coronated, as it were, on that day.”
