A Queensland woman in a wheelchair says she was left to crawl through the aisles of a Jetstar plane after landing in Thailand.

Natalie Curtis was flying from Singapore to Bangkok, but when she arrived and the passengers disembarked, she said she was greeted by a woman who she believed to be ground staff.

“There was obviously a huge communication barrier because she was going on that we have to pay for a chair, and I’m like I am not paying for a chair, I’ve got my own wheelchair what am I paying for?” she told Neil Breen.

Then she was told that there would be a wait.

Natalie, who runs a disability company, said she had no other option but to crawl eight rows to get to her wheelchair, which was at the front of the plane, too big to fit down the narrow plane aisle.

“So it was at the end of the aisle, and I was eight rows back, and had to crawl eight rows to get to my chair.”

Her friend who was with her was physically unable to carry her.

She said she’s never had it happen before, and she shared the video on Facebook to ensure it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
