The importance of being your own best friend

Bill Woods

Bill Woods is joined by Eleanor Crawford, Life Creation Coach, who explains that putting other peoples’ needs first seems to be the MO for women.

“We can get stuck in the cycle of being everything for everyone and prioritising ourselves last”, says Ms Crawford.

“But did you know that your relationships are a reflection of your relationship with yourself?”

“True story.”

“So, if you’re not putting your needs first, then you’re not building strong, compassionate, and values-based relationships with others.”

“As the saying goes, you can’t pour from an empty cup. So, you first, others next is the best way to be your own best friend.”
