NRL draw 2023: Dolphins gear up to make their debut
The Dolphins will play their first NRL premiership game against the Roosters, and will face off against the Broncos in March.
NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo explained the first round match-up is a tribute to league legend and immortal, Arthur Beetson, who always dreamed of such a rivalry becoming a reality.
Nine News sport reporter Matthew Tsimpikas said Round One will be big, when the Dolphins make their long-awaited debut.
“Round One against the Chooks at Suncorp Stadium it is going to be huge.”
The Dolphins will take on the Broncos on Friday March 24, in Round Four.
“Obviously Broncos have been the one-team NRL town, it will be exciting from the media build up … in Brisbane it will be electric.”
Neil said the Broncos will have to play three matches at the Gabba, to make way for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
