Things are set to heat up in the city this week as the winds take a northerly turn.

Tuesday will be the hottest day, with a toasty top of 32°C forecast for Brisbane.

“It’s been a bit windy on the coast, those northerly winds,” 9news weatherman Garry Youngberry told 4BC Breakfast.

“And whenever we get northerlies, that’s when we get the warmer temperatures. We’ve got them for the next couple of days.”
