It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Brisbane as the city undergoes a festive makeover.
A month of Christmas events kicks off today with the official lighting of the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Tree.
Festivities are set to begin at 6.30pm and will include several musical performances.
But that’s not all – 22,000 square metres of lights will also be switched on at Roma Street Parklands tonight as the ever-popular Enchanted Garden goes live.
Designed to take half an hour to wander through, the light show combines custom-made LEDs, light sculptures, lasers, projections and holograms that are sure to get onlookers into the Christmas spirit.
