Two would-be thieves have had the fright of their lives when a professional fighter emerged from a home they were trying to break into. 

Security camera footage captured the moment the pair armed with a knife picked out a Benowa Waters home to break into early Sunday morning.

Unbeknownst to them, it was the home of professional boxer Casey Caswell.

“Sunday, early hours, 4.40[am], phone starts going off,” Caswell told Luke Bradnam on 4BC Summer Breakfast.

“Jump out of bed, have a quick look and sure enough, there’s a couple of delinquents on the driveway, trying to get into the car, when obviously they realise it was locked.”
