It’s the case that sparked more conversations about what’s being done to tackle youth crime.

41-year-old Emma Lovell, allegedly stabbed to death during a violent home invasion at her North Lakes home on Boxing Day.

Two boys, aged just 17 are charged with murder and attempted murder.

Normally closed to media, the magistrate allowed journalists to enter the court today, Peter Saggers saying “it’s a matter in which there is significant public interest.”

Neil Breen congratulated the decision by the magistrate.
