Oliver Gildart says it was a no-brainer joining the NRL’s newest side.

The Dolphins much anticipated opening match is only 6 weeks out.

The 26-year-old said it was nerve-wracking training for the first time together but the squad has come together, on and off the field.

“Got the opportunity to come to the Dolphins, for this season, and was kind of buzzing to get the offer really,” he told Bill McDonald, filling in on Wide World of Sports.

“Obviously worked with Wayne Bennett before for England and Great Britain, kind of felt like he got me playing my best rugby so it was a no-brainer for me, really looking forward to the season and getting to work with Wayne as well.”
