Australians will be able to watch the Olympic Games on the Nine Network, with Nine Entertainment securing broadcasting rights for the next decade.

The $305 million agreement includes the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, Los Angeles in 2028 and Brisbane in 2032, the Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina in 2026 and the 2030 Olympic Winter Games.

In a statement, Nine CEO Mike Sneesby said the Games will be more accessible than ever before.

“It is a really diverse set of rights which is gong to enable us distribute the Games across more platforms than ever and give Aussies much greater access than ever before,” he told Neil Breen.

He said it’s a huge opportunity for the network.

“It’s a really exciting thing for the business but I cannot understate how significant this will be as a way for Australians to be able to access the Olympic Games,” he said.
