Luke Bradnam has shared an incredible catch!

The 9 News weather presenter posted a photo on social media of a young fisherman who caught and then released a huge barramundi.

21-year-old Ryan Selvey said he made the catch in one of the canals near the Nerang River on the Gold Coast.

“With the tail curled up, it was 129 centimetres,” he told Neil Breen.

He also had to contend with a curious bull shark.

Luke said it’s one of the biggest he’s heard of.

“This is quite the tale!” Neil said.
