Olympic champion Jess Fox will headline the Canoe Slalom Australian Open competition which gets underway on Friday.

She told Peter Psaltis she will be taking part in three events, including the kayak cross event which will be added to the Paris 2024 Games.

“This race is also part of the Australian selection so after this weekend we will know who the team is to race the World Cup event, and the world championships and we head overseas in May and sort of kick start the year,” she said on Wide World of Sports.
