Crime scene established after fire destroys Sunnybank unit
A crime scene has been established after fire destroyed a unit in Brisbane’s south overnight.
No one was inside the property when it went up in flames at a unit complex at Sunnybank.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said crews were able to contain the blaze.
“On arrival, we noticed there was smoke and flame clearly visible Unit 1 and teams went into action to extinguish and isolate the fire to that one unit,” he said.
Anyone who was driving in the area between 11pm yesterday and 1am today is asked to contact police.
