Students rushed to hospital after eating ‘unknown substance’ on school bus
Fourteen primary school students have been rushed to hospital after eating lollies on a Queensland school bus.
Paramedics were called to Bluewater State School, north of Townsville, just after 10am following reports more than 20 students were suffering from gastro symptoms.
Aged between eight and 12, the students are suffering from symptoms including vomiting, diarrhoea and intestinal pain.
The incident is being investigated by police.
