Brisbane Airport is experiencing its busiest seven-day period since the pandemic.

In the week since last Friday, 426,000 people are forecast to go through both international and domestic terminals.

March 31 was the busiest day, racking up a total 66,223 people travelling through the airport.

Brisbane Airport spokesperson Stephen Beckett told Laurel, Gary & Mark it’s recommended travellers arrive early to avoid stress at peak times.

“To make it a really comfortable journey for families getting away on a holiday, we recommend they arrive early: 90 minutes before a domestic flight and three hours for an international flight.”
