After reigning supreme for decades, Toyota sales have plummeted 30 per cent since the beginning of the year and the iconic HiLux is no longer on top.

Toyota sales have slumped a whopping 30 per cent since the start of 2023 due to unprecedented delays for new car buyers to receive their Toyota vehicles.

This means the Toyota HiLux Ute has been dethroned as Australia’s favourite car, making way for the Ford Ranger.

Plus Australia’s third favourite car, the Toyota RAV4, dropped 40 per cent in sales.
