A youth detention prison guard is facing allegations she had a relationship with a teenager jailed over a crash that killed Matthew Field, Kate Leadbetter and their unborn child.

She is accused of being involved with the teenager, while he was incarcerated at the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre.

Nine News reporter Peter Fegan told Ray Hadley that he is limited in what information he can divulge to the public about these allegations, saying “Here in Queensland, it is like a protection racket.”

“I know who he is and who the prison guard is, but I’m not allowed to name them,” he said.
