Health Minister Yvette D’Ath failed to attend Thursday’s maternity meeting for desperate Gladstone mothers; Sofie Formica says there are implications.

A community meeting for Gladstone mothers was held on Thursday at Lions Park to mark 300 days since Gladstone hospital was put on maternity bypass.

Both the Health Minister Yvette D’Ath and the Premier were no shows.

Sofie Formica said on 4BC Afternoons that the organisers were “shocked by the lack of interest by the Palaszczuk government”.

Ms Formica went on to say that the Health Minister ignoring Gladstone mothers signals a larger problem.
