Rockhampton absolutely wrought with vigilantism

Three people charged over the vigilante actions from Sunday night’s rally in Rockhampton, but another act of attempted resident justice has taken place.
Two people were charged for trespassing during the Sunday night’s neighbourhood rally in Rockhampton, and a 19-year-old was charged for driving around looking for a youth offender while in possession of a knife.
Shockingly, another act of vigilantism took place last night in Rockhampton.
4BC Nine News reporter Jess Millward shared the latest on this with Neil Breen on Brisbane Live.
Ms Millward said they’re calling it a “neighbourhood patrol”, and it involved residents meeting up to drive past properties of suspected youth criminals in the Rockhampton suburb of Gracemere.
“It gives you a sense of just how tense things are… people are just so absolutely sick and tired of this youth crime in their area that they feel like this is the only way that they’ll get some action here”, Ms Millward commented.
Police sympathize with the victims of youth crime but say that “this is absolutely not the answer”.
