Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and her mother Doria, have been embroiled in what’s being described as a “near catastrophic” car chase involving the paparazzi in New York City.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Laurel, Gary and Mark on 4BC Breakfast that the chase allegedly took place following an awards ceremony and they’re calling it “a relentless pursuit that went on for 2 hours”.

But Mr Ford has his doubts about the incident, he said “I don’t believe that there was this crazy car chase going on through Manhattan, it’s just not possible”.

“What we really need to see, and hopefully it’ll emerge in the next few hours, is the CCTV”, Mr Ford said.

Plus, New York Mayor Eric Adams, who has just spoken on the subject, also finds it hard to believe the incident was a 2-hour high speed chase given New York City’s traffic.
