The countdown to Origin game one is on and Reece Walsh couldn’t be more ready.

Queensland Maroons assistant coach Josh Hannay joined Peter Psaltis on 4BC Wide World of Sports to discuss preparations ahead of Wednesday’s game to be played in Adelaide.

Commenting on the big match Mr Hannay said, “I think both teams are certainly capable of getting out there on Wednesday night and playing an attractive brand of football”.

Mr Hannay also said that Reece Walsh’s “game’s gone to another level through hard work and dedication and his selection is totally warranted”.

According to Mr Hannay, Reece Walsh is a “huge reason why the Broncos are up where they are” and “that’s what Origin’s about, it’s about rewarding excellence”.

“We’re extremely excited about what he can do on Wednesday”, Mr Hannay said.
