Minimum wage increase causing a spiral for the Reserve Bank
The minimum wage has increased and it has positively impacted 2.67 million Australians, but not the Reserve Bank.
The minimum wage has increased by 5.75 per cent, changing the minimum pay rate from $21.38 per hour to $22.61 per hour.
Neil Breen said on 4BC Brisbane Live, “what is the greatest fear of the Reserve Bank? A wage price spiral…we will never get out of this.”
