Angus Beaumont’s alleged killer denied bail

After the original conviction was set aside, one of Angus Beaumont’s alleged killers applied for bail, but this request has been denied.
The original trial for Angus Beaumont was challenged due to the pair of teens allegedly slapping hands following the incident. After the original conviction was set aside, the teens were eligible to appeal for bail.
Ben Beaumont, Angus Beaumont’s father, told Sofie Formica on Afternoons, “The offender who is now applying for bail is technically going to be out in February 2025, the longer they stall the system with appeals, the longer they stay in youth detention.”
“That’s the defence lawyers job is to keep them out of prison they’re doing exactly what the laws allow them to do, the laws need to be changed because everything is aimed at the offenders,” Mr. Beaumont continued.
